DLHE surveys precipitate winter flurry

Universities are buying in expertise and services from small dynamic enterprises to help the institutions to differentiate their offerings. At Contented, we’re experiencing particular demand from enlightened ‘post-‘92’ universities for a range of enterprise and employability programmes.

One business development executive at a London University, told us: “It’s very empowering for graduates to work with people willing to share risk and reward. Frankly, our university doesn’t’ have that level of dynamism and enterprise. That’s why we need to work with them.”

DHLE stats 2011-12

As Higher Education monitors prepare for their annual spot-check on how many graduates are working, many universities are buying seats on quality placement programmes on behalf of last year’s students. Contented is also offering services to universities to run Erasmus Plus programmes and prepare bids for ERDF and other EU funds.

Working with Contented allows universities to engage graduates in wider training and research and help them develop a professional portfolio. As graduate unemployment faces ever growing figures and scrutiny in the media, give your students the edge in the international employment arena and boost your differential in the university marketplace.
