About our practitioners’ programme
The Contented Sustainability Accelerator is a unique business development environment designed to help consultants, coaches and managers embed responsibility and generative leadership in their work.
We facilitate confidential peer-to-peer action learning spaces to explore practical sustainability challenges. For example, previous participants have brought issues around securing contracts, convincing boards, building strategies, bringing in the voices of the wider ecosystem, changing mindsets, and reporting risk and value. During one-to-one coaching and mentoring we support practitioners to focus on their areas of interest. Our programme combines an understanding and application of management practices, models and tools within a framework of the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), human qualities identified as required for society to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We combine the practice of inner development with active enquiry into issues of importance to participants’ work. You can learn more about the IDGs in the video linked here.
During the programme, we weave threads of creativity and ecopsychology to explore what it means to be human and a participant in nature rather than a consumer of it. Through reflective practice, you’ll be invited to explore the qualities and teachings each session brings.
How you’ll participate
The Sustainability Accelerator is designed and delivered by senior members of the team at Contented ESG, led by Gerard Davies who brings 25 years’ experience working with businesses, investors, sustainability and responsible practice, as entrepreneur, coach and auditor. Contented hosts an international IDG Hub and was the only private company from the UK to participate in the Global Leaders for Sustainable Development cohort in North Africa in 2024, led by the IDG Foundation with the support of the United Nations Development Fund and Massachussets Institute of Technology. Our coaches and facilitators are accredited coaches and official IDG Ambassadors.
We provide monthly live group workshops that you can take at your own pace, as well as psychometric tests, individual coaching sessions, and self-directed learning modules covering the IDG skills framework and more. You will access our learning portal, with lots of resources and exclusive webinars.
The first sessions include a series of psychometric tests for guiding your 1:1 coaching hour. Complete six modules to gain recognition from the Institute of Leadership, including a certificate and letters after your name. Alumni may be invited to join a pool from where we recruit all our associate consultants and coaches.
There are five IDG dimensions: Being – Thinking – Relating – Collaborating – Acting. We complete the programme with a final module, Integrating
We also invite participants to attend an additional free ‘Grounding‘ session beforehand where they can have a taste of the programme’s experiential learning approach.

Investment: The full price of each bundle (see panel, right) is £990+VAT (£1180 total). Alternatively, you can pay for a single workshop and coaching/mentoring/supervision session for £495+VAT. Additional coaching and mentoring sessions are priced at £95+VAT each.
Discounts and bursaries: We frequently offer discount codes through trusted networks – if one you belong to doesn’t have a code, please invite the organisers to contact us. If you are still struggling to afford to join, please email us to make your case for a bursary.
Workshop timings: Live sessions are scheduled around the cohort to accommodate different time zones and days. We start new cohorts as soon as we have a minimum of six people.

Note that two bundles are required to complete all six modules and qualify for the Institute of Leadership certificate, subject to meeting the criteria.
