“The best way to get close to a country is through human stories,” says film-maker Tinatin Gurchiani. The machine which makes everything disappear, allows us to experience her contemporary Georgia through a simple idea – showing a casting process for roles in a movie about young people. In front of the camera, a series of people speak about themselves and their lives. We then follow them to their homes and capture moments from the everyday to the dramatic. Ontente asked about the making of the film, Tinatin’s plans for her next projects and the origin of the title.
